About Us

One of the most popular attractions in Chicago, the Buckingham Fountain was commissioned in 1927 by Kate Buckingham to honor her late brother Clarence. Today, the Fountain remains a popular attraction in the Windy City as well as one of the largest fountains in the world!

Fully operational from April to mid-October, visitors are treated to a magnificent water display every hour for 20 minutes, shooting 150 feet into the air. The water display is accompanied by a major light and music display once the sun sets.

This Chicago landmark, located at Grant Park is not only a popular attraction, but it's famous too! Serving as an attraction along Route 66, it was showcased in every episode of Married with Children and was the starting point for the Amazing Race 6.
